One of the things I learned from my pops was to build relationships with people.. No matter their beliefs, culture, background etc. It's the relationship, the genuine friendship, that matters. If you want people to listen to your message, to respect what you do and to understand where your coming from you need to build a relationship. Paul the apostle said in 1 Cor. 9:22-23, "I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I might share in its blessing". Paul was out there with everyone. He didn't hide in the church waiting for people to come in.. He was in the streets talking to everyone no matter who they were trying to build a relationship or find common ground in order to spread the gospel. That's what it's all about.. That's the message of street gospel.. We don't wait for people to find the message of the Savior, we take the message of the Savior and find the people..
